Luciano Bastos

Dancer and tango teacher since 1998, Luciano Bastos has extensive international experience, having participated in festivals in several cities around the world. He danced with the orchestra “El Café de los Maestros” on tours through Brazil and Asia, with which he was able to share the stage with great names of Argentine tango such as Leopoldo Federico, Fernando Suarez Paz and José Colángelo. Postgraduate in Knowledge Management and Business Intelligence from Crie/Coppe/UFRJ, since 2017 he has directed Tangueria Luciano Bastos, located in Rio de Janeiro and, in partnership with the Argentine Consulate in Rio de Janeiro, the Municipal Secretary of Culture of Rio de Janeiro and the Dance Professionals Union of the same state, leads the “Tango for All” movement, which aims to bring the carioca public closer to Argentine culture through public actions and at popular prices.
